Although he died at a young age in a BASE jumping accident, thanks in large part to his own video footage that he created while BASE jumping, Carl Boenish’s life story is able to be shared with a generation of people who were not even alive when Boenish created BASE jumping. His love of skydiving mixed with is passion for cinematography led Boenish to create BASE jumping and to share video footage of his jumps with others.
