Starting with Miep, she was a woman with a lot of courage. She helped she the Franks and the Van Daans with a lot such as bringing food and supplies. She knew how dangerous it would be to help them. Miep could have been put in a concentration camp but she continued helped them anyway. Mr. Frank also showed courage. In “The Play” there was a small part where a robber broke in and made noise. Sacrifice isn't very often shown is “The Play”. There are many people that show the total opposite, such as Mr. Van Daan. Mr. Van Daan is very greedy and cares a lot about himself instead of his wife, son, and everyone else in the secret annex. The only person in the whole secret annex that shows the bit of sacrifice is Mr. Frank.
All together these characteristics are hard to have as a 13-15 year old girl. Anne of course doesn't know how to feel about all of the things happening around her. She feels like she can't be herself and she's not really a girl that has those characteristics so she feels that she doesn't really have to change. As for the other people in the secret annex they don't really have any of these characteristics. If I were Mr. Frank I would probably kick them out because they are air wasters.
