How Does Anne Frank Show Courage

Anne Frank’s courage through this hard time has shined throughout her story. Anne’s courage shows when she knew who she was and was not afraid of the future. ''Young as I am, I face life with more courage and have a better and truer sense of justice than Mother. I know what I want, I have a goal, I have opinions, a religion and love. If only I can be myself, I'll be satisfied. I know that I'm a woman, a woman with inner strength and a great deal of courage! If God lets me live… I'll make my voice heard…I now know that courage and happiness are needed first!''(Frank). Anne knows who she is and knows that she can face anything in her way. Even if people are still very young, they shouldn’t be prevented from saying what they think”(Frank). Anne Frank is not afraid to stand by her beliefs even when she could be killed for believing in them. She knew even at a young age that her opinion was important and nobody could stop her from thinking it. Anne’s courage has been shown greatly in how she acted when she was faced with this hard time and what she wrote.

Anne Frank’s positivity radiates throughout her diary. Her positivity was shown when she wrote in her diary about sticking to her ideals. “It’s difficult in times like these: ideals, dreams and cherished hopes rise within us, only to be crushed by grim reality. It’s a wonder I haven’t abandoned all my ideals, they seem so absurd and impractical. Yet I cling to them because I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are truly good at heart.”(Frank). Anne looks past all the evil in the world and looks at a side of people many would not see. Anne positivity was shown when she wrote about all the happiness left in the world.
