How Does Anne Frank Overcome Discrimination In The Holocaust

Mostly everyone in the holocaust was either killed or highly discriminated against before and during WW2. Although most people in the Holocaust died, the ones who survived and lived to tell their stories, have been very memorable to this day. Harold Gordon was just 10 years old when he was sent to the ghetto with his parents. All of his friends called him a jew and none of them liked him anymore. He was young and confused and scared with this new life he had. In his story about his life in the ghetto he said that,” I would go to bed at night and wonder what I did that was so wrong that I had to come to this place. I was a good kid, I didn’t deserve this.” I couldn’t imagine how he felt being that young and feeling that kind of hurt and sadness. Harold was one of the youngest survivors of the Holocaust and even being young he is still haunted by the way the SS officers have treated him. …show more content…
Although she didn’t realize why she went into hiding at first, she soon realized it was because that nobody wanted to see her and nobody wanted her around anymore so she had to hide., Everybody knows Anne’s story so this is a prime example of hatred and being able to overcome her tragedies. Even after she died she is and will always be remembered for her touching story that she left behind. In conclusion, Harold and Anne both had to overcome their adversities and the people that hated them in order for them to be successful and that’s exactly what they did. For that, they will always be remembered and even in death they will never truly be
