How Does Alcoholism Affect Teens

Teens do not stop to think about how alcoholism affects their hormones. Most teens go out to parties and kickbacks and consume large amounts of alcohol, which makes them uncontrollable of their actions and hormones during that moment. So, they tend to become very touchy with one another, and often time endure in sexual intercourse. During that moment majority of teens forget all about using protection. The teen’s lack awareness, which causes them to end up reproducing a baby together. This in the end turns out to become and baby. So, I would say alcoholism has a major effect on teen pregnancies. Often time’s teens become pregnant from not being knowledgeable about sex. Most teens don’t take the time out to learn and get knowledge of sex, before they are peer pressured into it by someone. Teens also think that by using a condom while the female teen isn’t on birth control that she won’t end up becoming pregnant. Which is false because condoms are only 99.9% effective, so there is a possibility of the female teen becoming pregnant. Some teens also tend to not even ask questions about sex to not look uncool around friends. Most teens are going to school and meeting new friends, and some are even determined to keep those friends, so they try to fit in as well as possible. Teens are often put through peer pressure from friends. Teen boys and girls even sometimes make bets on whom can have sexual intercourse the most. Not thinking of the dangers such as sexual transmitted diseases or even becoming pregnant.
