When a person becomes addicted to alcohol, it can cause them to do many dangerous things that they otherwise wouldn’t do. It can cause them to have risky behaviors or give them crazy mood swings. These things don’t just affect the user but also the family, friends, and their society. When someone because addicted they could get risky ideas that can affect the rest of their life. Some alcoholics can get risky ideas that include (and are not limited to) impaired driving. Multiple sex partners, and so much more that at the time they can see as something that is normal to do (Tara Healle,1). Because of the fact that genetics also play a huge part in alcoholism it means that children can have that much more of a chance to become one and it also means that living with one can increase your chances even more because of the struggles or hardships you could go through (Genetics of Alcohol use disorder). This passage suggests that Alcoholics can cause so much more pain and trouble to other people rather than just themselves. Finally, Alcoholics have a lot of impact on society because they could bring the death rate up because of some things they can do or they can bring up other bad statistics.
