In 1961, President John F. Kennedy, in his first Executive Order 10925, was first mentioned the Affirmative Action. Affirmative Action is a mean to against the race discrimination and gender discrimination, it purposes to effort to eliminate the discrimination and to make the employment and educational opportunities equality for minorities and for women. However, with the Affirmative Action implemented, it came out with another social unfair.
Many people complained that Affirmative Action need changed:
Education. Students have the equal opportunities to enter colleges, despite the race or gender. If there are two students in the same grade, the enrollment office should check the background of the students and consult the education experts.
Generally, the affirmative action is purposed to bring us justice, but it must be changed, and that would make our society become more justice.
