How Do Your Life Changed Me Essay

Decent Essays
Life is like a game, there are good moves and bad moves. It all depends on what life tests you on and what it throws at you. Throughout my life I have had many changes because of what life throws at me. There has not been as many changes in my life besides 2nd grade, as Freshman year. New school, new people to make friends or to make enemies, old people both disliked and liked. But the three big things that has changed me throughout the year is the experiences in the school and new skills I’ve learned. And within these big experiences, there are little experiences that change my life. Usually when going to new places in general is nerve racking, but going to a new school with same, new and old people are different you don’t know who has changed a lot and who has changed little or not at all. I myself wasn’t really that nervous, or excited. It was more of a neutral feeling. But I was uneasy about some things, like the social structure and rules of the school, silent or not. Though after a few days of school I quickly understood them and went on with regular classes and such. I didn’t really like Advisory though, it felt like a waste of time but I was able to learn some things like how to set up a resume and to figure out where you want to go in life more. There were other things like grading which was different. I was used to having the teachers being more lenient on scores and would get half point if they understood on where I was getting my answer. Not to mention how the school has changed me with all new and old people and outside of school as well with new and old activities. I believe Freshman year is one of the most influential years I have ever had. I am very glad that I was able to live through this year, and I hope the next year as

My life changed the year of 2013. An unforgettable experience I had was when I left the only school I´d ever been to. All of my friends were at Conway Christian School, I didn't want to leave, but my older brother did. I left when I finished fifth grade. One of my brothers stayed at CCS (Conway Christian School) and the other, with me, went to public school.…

Freshmen year was honestly pretty good I had a lot of friends and had a lot of fun in my classes with them, going into Brunswick High School I was a little bit nervous just the fact I would be at the bottom of the totem pole now and would possibly be picked on by the older kids but it turned out to be just a myth, but some of them were definitely scary looking. Some other things I was afraid of was what the class load would be like I didn't know exactly how much tougher it would be but it honestly wasn't to much tougher than middle school. The teachers here were fairly nice didn't have many problems with them but they did definitely hold your behavior to a higher standard. High school was a change from middle school definitely just because…

I am willing to bet that there are many astonishing young men and women who have applied for this scholarship. I am also willing to bet there are a fair amount of applicants who meet the unwritten standards needed to receive this scholarship. I will not boast promises of outstanding grades or how this money could build my future. Instead, I will tell of my past, allowing my personality speak for itself. Growing up my parents always encouraged my siblings and me to stay true to ourselves, whether that is morally, mentally, and/or physically.…

Senior year is one that should be unforgettable. It is the one where you start to realize who you are and some find out who they want to become. We grow to know one another as a family, an East High Blue Ace family. High school has taught me countless lessons, like being the most popular is not important at all, getting to know the people you thought you would never talk to is a very favorable experience, and never waste a second on someone who wouldn’t take a bullet for you. There truly is a friend for everyone, you just have to reach out and step out of your comfort zone.…

This is my first year of high school, and so far I am enjoying this year more than any of my previous years in elementary school at Aviston Elementary. In the past years, I was a stressed out loner who was easily annoyed by everything and could not get long-term projects done without having a melt down at some point. However, in this year that has changed. I have made a few friends who have stayed with me for the entire year, learned to tolerate immature, childish actions, and have not felt completely overwhelmed to this date. This year and previous years both had their moments, but I would not change anything that happened because they both helped make me who I am now.…
