How Do You Use Dramatic Irony In The Story Of An Hour

The story of an hour uses dramatic irony to show the liberation of women during this period of time. Women who are trying to seek independence and freedom should a positive act but is not the case at that time. Louise Mallard never got to live out her hidden feelings for freedom. Only during that one hour did Mrs. Mallard’s soul awaken and she realize she could be just Louise Mallard.
