According to an article named “How do you Talk about God?” written by Wendy Russell, discusses a story about a little preschool girl who has conversation to her mother about God, and her beliefs of God. According to the mother she didn’t know what to do in this case because she had never thought to discuss this conversation with her child. She was kind of disappointed about how her daughter learned about the meaning of God, and how much power he had, but she still didn’t know what to do in that case. Russell explains the different aspects and emotions the mother goes through in the story because she didn’t want her child to be adapted to someone else’s belief. According to an article named “It’s not that complicated” written by Joyce Meyer she discuss the distractions that exists when conversing with God. She states in the article there are some specific questions people ask to see if God will answer them. Meyer states “Is God really involved in my life?, Does He really want to be involved in all the little details?, Does God only help out with big issues, not little ones?” (Meyer, p1). Meyer discusses the distractions that hinders God from answering people. These distractions can be due to something we did, something we said, or how we reacted. She states the distractions that push people away from the God is “the television, radio, food, hobbies, and sometimes even family and church activities” (Meyer, p1). These distractions are caused based on society, because of the things society puts in our heads. Meyer mentions “Listening to God is our decision, but God won’t force you to choose his will, but he will do everything he can to encourage us to go down the right path.” (Meyer, p1). This statement is a good example of how God is interpreted based off talking to us. He gives many hints in our lives to let us know he is still here to support
