How Do You Summarize SGT Kurgat's Article 15

Decent Essays
SGT Kurgat and I discussed SPC Henry's Article 15 and we agreed that proceeding with a summarized Article 15 will suffice. CPT Salter and SFC Mickles support our decision.

SPC Henry attended his Behavioral Health and appointment and they recommend that he is seen once a week.

SPC Henry continued to deny everything in the memos and the email from the Provider. I asked him why he felt like he was “just a number.” He said he doesn’t feel like he is valued as a human being. He people look at him and judge him before getting to know him. He also stated people assume the work he does is not important.
I informed him that I am not aware of anyone treating him inhumane and if that is occurring he needs to bring it to my attention. He

Originally scheduled for December 19th, the hangings were postponed for over one week while Colonel Miller located enough proper rope for the required nooses. In full view of these gallows, stood a heavily guarded enclosure that housed the 264 prisoners having escaped them. Rumors were moving around the compound that secret societies or vigilante groups were forming to rush this enclosure and ‘take matters into their own hands.’ Colonel Miller took these rumors seriously and issued orders that decreed. “the sale, tender gift or use of all intoxicating liquors…by soldiers, sojourners or citizens, is entirely prohibited until Saturday evening, the 27th instant, at eleven o’clock.”…

Bryan Stevenson’s thesis is that there is an injustice in America’s justice system, directed not only to people of colour, but also people of poverty. The speaker states his thesis 5 minutes and 39 seconds into his presentation, after introducing himself with a story of his past proving his virtues and identity as a person of colour. By stating his thesis at this point, Mr. Stevenson was able to give himself 5 minutes to provide the audience evidence, easing them up to his thesis, yet at this point he still has enough time to elaborate further on his evidence through the rest of his talk. His self introduction gave the audience time to get to know where he is coming from, and to realize the validity of his argument, after he displayed his virtues.…

I believe that Robert Allies is right to say that being likable is the magic bullet of communication. In our book it states, “‘With it, your audience will forgive just about everything else you do wrong. Without it, you can hit every bull’s eye in the room, and no one will be impressed”(Pg 304 Lines 12-15). Allies is correct by saying this. Being likable gives a speaker several advantages.…

The most meaningful clause in The American Legion Preamble to me is “To promote peace and good will on earth.” This clause is important and meaningful because one of our main problems in America is keeping the peace among our citizens and exemplifying good will to everyone in our everyday lives whether big or small. It is important to remember that our country was at its best when all parties were peaceful and doing what was best for one another. The literal definition of peace is “freedom from disturbance.” We seemed to have strayed away from that as the years have gone by, and it has been proven numerous times in our federal government, in our economy and in our citizens everyday lives.…

The Louisiana Public Service Commission (PSC) accused Global Tel Link (GTL), a firm offering inmate communication solutions, of overcharging inmates and their families for telephone calls. Securus Technologies, a private company in the same industry, is issuing press releases to emphasize GTL's theft. Securus hopes to shame GTL into acting with integrity in the future. The PCS charged GTL with multiple acts of overcharging for calls, including artificially inflating charges for the sole purpose of increasing the company's revenue. Rick Smith, CEO of Securus Technologies, admits that Louisiana's PCS held their investigation years ago, however, Smith claims that GTL is a tainted company and time does not excuse their actions.…

The Department of Defense has been bringing awareness to military personnel, civilians and contractors. All are required to complete a general military training course on trafficking in person yearly. This course explains what is trafficking of a person, who may be involved and how to recognize it. It also teaches the members how the participation in sexual acts with the victims makes it harder for them to escape and keeps the recruitment of others at a high demand. It is my great honor to explore the Legion of Honor Museum located in San Francisco on March 30th. All of the fantastic artworks have impressed me by the artists’ excellent drawing techniques and imaginations. However, there is one great masterwork of painting influenced me the most. It was draw by the celebrated English artist Joseph Wright of Derby (1734–1797) and entitled The Dead Soldier(1789). The exceptional 49 ¾ x 64-inch painting has been principally known through a smaller version painted by Wright and housed in its original carved wood and gilded frame.…
