How do you find true love in today’s ever changing dating scene of 2015. Just when I was about to lose hope in finding true love, September 2014 my life changed tremendously and my prayers had finally been answered. I was tired of being alone so I was ready to be in a relationship. I was single and dating for almost three years when I decided to try online dating for the very first time. After years of dating I knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t want in my life. I wanted real love. I will say the first few times of logging onto the dating site was a little discouraging. We had to find a photographer, DJ, caterer, pastor and figure out where exactly to get married. My grandmother later expressed to us that she would love it if we had our wedding ceremony at her house in the backyard and we agreed. My grandmother means the world to me so it was a pleasure to grant her wish. We decided to rent a huge tent, arch, tables and chairs. Now it was time to find and purchase my wedding dress. I visited lots of stores and tried on many wedding dresses. Finding a dress was very hard and took lots of time. I was exhausted. But after a month of shopping for a dress I finally found the perfect Ivory colored dress. We selected the people we wanted to be in our wedding. Everything was coming together nicely. It was now my big day, the day I dreamed of all my life. My wedding was everything I hoped for. We had all our friends and family there to witness us coming together as a union. My dad walked me down the aisle to meet my knight in shining armor. I was nervous and excited at the same time. We went before God to say our vows and the I do’s and shared a passionate kiss.
