We see my mum and her partner a lot as they live really close to us. We also have spent a lot of time with my sister and her partner over the summer holidays helping them get two houses renovated before moving to Brisbane. Then we went and surprised my sister for her birthday after they made the permanent move to Brisbane. I would be the primary care giver and would therefore stop work. This would be a big change as I have been teaching for ten years but a change I am ready for. I would imagine that having a child come into our lives we would need to use the strength of our relationship to unite and work together as a team, at the same time allowing our friends and family to provide us with support and tips. Ben and I have been through a lot together. We have a great mutual respect for each other and communicate really well together and we would need to put these skills and values to use. Having a child will bring great joy and happiness to our loves but we also are prepared to put in hard work to assist the child in the adjustment that they would go through leaving whatever situation they have known in their life to come into ours.
