How Do Social Programs Affect Families

Was it possible for social policy and social program to have a huge effect on my family’s life? Social program and social policy that could cause huge effect on my entire family by having support like for worker protection insurance program to provide money and support for my family. As for social policy like for my family being in poverty in order to have a better life by deciding to immigrated to the United of State of American from China to have a better life by finding a better job and higher income. A different social policy like for public education that my family did not receive and force to live in poverty by working instead of going to school to receive their education. My family immigrated to the United State of America from the city called Hong Kong in China in order to have a better life by finding a better career and programs that could support for my family. A good example was receiving financial aid to go to college and the reason for me to receive financial aid support was that United States America could afford to support student to apply to go college, but other country like China cannot provide financial support. Compare to a country like china cannot provide support for people to go to college for various reason like being second world country and the economy was low that prevent creating program to support poverty. My family also used to be in poverty after immigrating to the United State of America by living in a small apartment that only has two bedroom that my parent used one of the bedroom and the other bedroom was used by me. If my family did not have an apartment to live then we would probably have not come to United State of America to live and probably still continuing living in China with no financial support. Fortunately, my family was able to receive help from the owner of the apartment by not having to pay the rent for the apartment and owner of the apartment happen to be a distant relative of my father. If the owner of the apartment was not my dad’s relative then we would have to pay the rent and have financial issues with living in this small
