How do seatbelts minimise injuries during head on collisions?
Seat belts are designed make sure people stay in their seats during a crash this reduces and prevents injuries. The study when looking at injuries which were judged to be moderate harshness and above, users of normal seat belts had a 56.5% lower rate then unbelted passengers.
