Robert and Pape (2011) refer to scholarship as academic achievement; it is a path to career development in nursing which placed more in research and publication as the primary focus of scholarship for professional advancement. Nursing scholarship is the line that ties the major meta-paradigm of nursing, person, nursing, health and environment. Nursing scholars contributes to understanding of the nursing scholarship. These icons are leaders in nursing and professional activists in the committee that develop nursing curricula, promotes nursing in politics or legislature forums (Robert and Pape, 2011).Through nurses’ obligation to scholarly practice and effective patient care, they are impelled to use theory and research to improve nursing practices.
