How Do Guns Affect Our Society

Life in the past was extremely different than it is today. Everyday, our life and technology are improving and we are developing our knowledge. Along with new discoveries and expanding knowledge , we unintentionally create major problems. Some of these problems include mass shootings, organized attacks and terrorist bombings. These different problems affect everyone differently. For example, terrorist attacks can cause certain people to be nervous and worried all the time. For others, they could be worried about their relatives in that area where the bombing occurred. For me, the recent shootings on school campuses and in public areas are events that have affected my daily life. These shootings are unpredictable and frightening. I believe the wrong people have guns because the government won’t implement gun control laws, and because of this, I have to practice drills for lockdowns and be careful wherever I go.

You can never know when someone is going to do something crazy or where it’ll be. Furthermore, you can be in danger anywhere you go. For example, there was a bombing at a soccer game. If I decide to go to the movie theater, I always have to be with an adult because of the shootings and the deaths of many innocent people.
