The way society judges men and women is discouraging because they are expected to dress, act, and look a certain way. It is considered "wrong" or "gay" for males to wear skirts, dresses, heels, or any type of women's clothing. It is also similar with makeup, people should be able to wear anything that makes them feel comfortable, and not judged by the people around them. Once women begin to act powerful and assertive toward men, they are labeled negatively. If gender roles did not exist, people would be able to speak their mind, do what they want, and wear what makes them happy. Nobody ever thinks to themselves, "Who made up all of these gender limitations?"
The decision to stop gendering items will make a positive impact on the growing society of children. It will encourage kids to become more independent with their thoughts and actions.
