How Do Drones Revolutionize Warfare

Drone are going to revolutionize warfare. These drones have become more popular and more frequently used since President Obama has came into office in 2008. Drones can change war for the better with just a click of a button.

The next big thing in technology. The U.S. first started using drones in 2002, but we have used them more in 2007/08. Police departments and major companies like Amazon have tested and already use drones to improve their job. Drones are still fairly new and some laws have have already been placed to prevent any accidents. “It’s kind of like the early days of the automobile” (source A).

How can drones benefit the U.S. Drones can help soldiers out on the field by looking for enemies and or traps that may lead to disaster. Drones have a precise strike and can kill someone in a building without harming others within that building. 41 suspected terrorist have been killed by

Will Citizens be killed if a strike happens? “The amendment protects individuals against “unreasonable searches and seizures” (Source A). This means the police have to get a warrant issued from the court and have “probable cause” if they want to search a person’s property. There is always a possibility that a citizen may be killed while the military is trying to execute someone. In Fact the percentage of citizens being killed has gone down after the Vietnam and Balkan wars after using drones. According to Source J, 8-17% of of civilian deaths have happened, but in World War II the civilian death percentage was estimated to 40 to 67%. “In the Korean, Vietnam and Balkan wars the percentages are 70%, 31% and 45%” (source J).

Using drones in Police and warfare could and will help the U.S significantly. They will help our soldiers take out terrorist trying to hurt our country. It has brought down the percentage of civilians being killed. Drones are the next thing to advance warfare and help the U.S defeat
