Produced in the early 1980’s, when communication tools that were created for the Department of Defense were put into the market by companies concentrating on revenue; cellular phones, turned out to be an instant success. Being under tremendous pressure the governmental regulatory organizations; in particular the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), consented to cell phones being put on the market without pre-market testing. Therefore, cellular phones were freed from any sort of regulatory inspection; an exemption that carries on today. However, in an up-to-the-minute civilization there has been much progress in the new generation of services accessible by cellular phones. Services such as videoconferencing and Internet access with the capability to send and receive e-mail instantly. Even though cell phones bring some conveniences and assistance to our lives, they also have some potentially treacherous effects as well. Cellular phones provide a danger to society because they cause negative health problems, bad driving habits, and corrupt teenager’s behaviors.
