It has several disadvantages. First, it needs more time to make decisions because of different views from different group member, but we just have a limit of amount of time. Group members will have all kinds of ideas to contribute to presentation and paper, so it would be hard to decide which idea the group members should choose. Thus, the group needs a leader to solve the problem in a short time, and make almost people satisfied with results. Second, language can be a barrier when group has different countries’ people. People may need more time to understand others. However, from another side, it could be an advantage, like Chinese can learn more English and American can learn different thinking ways through communicating. UNV-100 Final Project It is enjoyable to me when study at a university with multi-cultural students and professors. What differentiates the students from each other at the AUAF are the racial, ethnical and gender varieties. It is obvious that the students who came from western part of Afghanistan culturally differ from the one who joined AUAF from northern part of the country. From my point of view, diversity in a society, specially, at the university is not only an opportunity for the students to learn about different cultures and demography, but help us to improve the quality of life and education by conspiring of their views and opinions pertaining enhancement of quality education and life.…

However, diversity can also produce harmful effects, especially if not well-managed. The negative impact of diversity happens when the work culture does not support tolerance and acceptance of differences. One of the negative aspects of diversity is the poor communication among the employees; it tends to occur when the workplace has employees from different countries with different native languages. Employees who are not fluent in the language of their organization may be misunderstood, and it will eventually affect the company performance. Furthermore, diversity can generate tension between people from different cultural and ethics backgrounds because their ideas and views about the lifestyle, religions and politics can create conflicts when these concepts are present in the work…

How can our government be benign if we depend from it as much as it depends from us, the citizens? I don’t think it would be a good idea to aggravate the general population that in a way has much more power than the government it self. I feel like if there would be a day were the government would take advantage of its people, then that would be the day when the people of this country would stand against its government. In any matters where the people feel aggravated by its government am pretty sure the people will have a solution, and if that solution is to overwrite the way our government works then we shall do it. But talking about how or government treats us is very pleasant compared to other countries that only utilize they’re citizens to exploited them in hard labor…

Whether you are a part of a social group or on a group project for school or work everyone has the want and need to be included, when group members don’t feel like they have fully been accepted in to the group they can become withdrawn and anti-social which would lead them to not be a contributing part of the team. Having a diverse group of people on a team can help a team more effectively and efficiently reach their common goal. If everyone on the team had the exact same life experiences, was the same age and the same culture they more than likely would have the same general way to approach the group’s common goal. Having diversity on the team can help generate more ideas because everyone’s life experiences and cultural differences have helped form the way they think and the way that they solve problems. Roles, needs and diversity affect a group’s teamwork immensely because if members aren’t performing their specific goal and only focusing on a self-centered role the groups work will either multiply for the other members of the group or the group’s common goal might not be met.…

What is certain is that the role of multicultural teams has increased a lor in the latest years and multinational companies started to pay great attention on these effects. Generally cultural diversity can affect the team performance in three ways: ● People find easy to work and cooperate with whom shared similar values, attitudes and beliefes according to the cultural similarity theory; ● People tend to class themselves according to their social identity and use their group norms to judge others people behaviour according to social categorization theory; ● An effect of (cultural) diveristy in team can bring a wider variety of networks…
