Society as a whole has faced many challenges when it comes to diversity, it hasn’t always been something that was accepted and looked at as good. Throughout the years there have been many movements to change this and to make it so everyone is treated equal and as a whole. In the past diversity may have been looked at as a bad thing, but over the years things have changed. Diversity has helped improve our society, even though there is still some problems that need to be worked through. People have learned how to be more open minded and accepting which has had many benefits. Diversity has helped expand our knowledge and made us want to learn more about different cultures, it has brought people together in many different ways and has helped improve America.
