Digital media effects the brain in many different ways and is becoming such a popular subject and that the concern of how it is affecting people brain needs to be publicized. Digital media and social media is changing the way society communicates. This gives me examples to express to show that digital media is changing the way people function on a daily basis. I conducted information on how and what can be used and done with the impact of digital media. Youth reflect their identities based on social media. There are so many different applications, websites, and blogs in today’s society people always have something to compare themselves to. After conducting research on the impact of Digital Media I have come to the conclusion that society is heavily dependent on the influence of the internet. Have you ever observed how many people you see on their cell phone, laptop, iPad, tablet, or any electronic device when you are out in public? From a family sitting at the dinner table, students sitting in class, or even adults at the gym you will find people stop what they are doing to check their phone. After being brought to my attention I realized how hard it was for me to concentrate on a single task without stopping to check my phone, listen to music, or change the channel on the TV.
