Mood is a temporary state of mind or feeling. There are many factors that can have an impact on our mood. The main aim of the study conducted was to test how different colors of interiors across a room can affect our moods. The digital images of two imaginary rooms settings were used to conduct the experiment. The research by Yildrim, Hidayetoglu, and Capangolu (2011) highlights the change in people’s mood with reference to colors and space. The two pictures only differed in colors, keeping all our characteristics fixed. The colors ranged from warm, cool or achromatic color. The study by Yildrim et al. Yildrim et al., 2011, p. 509). There are two categories of colors namely, cool and warm color. While designing homes and room, selecting colors for the wall is sometimes the most difficult thing. Our favorite colors may not be always a good idea for the room walls. Since colors play a huge role in setting our moods and emotions, interior colors and rooms wall colors must be selected after doing research.
