Anne Frank, an inspiring Jewish girl who became well known through her famous diary, went through many challenging things in her life. Adolf Hitler targeted Jewish people which caused a war known as World War Two. These events affected Anne Frank before the war, during the war, and after the war. The events of World War Two affected the life of Anne Frank before the war. Her Family and Anne Frank decided to leave Germany to avoid harm from Hitler’s rise to power. “The economic crisis, Hitler’s rise to power and growing antisemitism put an end to the family’s carefree life. When war struck the Netherlands, many laws took place which made it hard for Jewish people like Anne Frank’s family to tolerate. “Anti-Jewish regulations soon follow. Jews are allowed to go to less and less places, Anne and Margot must attend a Jewish school and Otto loses his business” ( Anne-Frank's-history-in-brief/War in the Netherlands). This shows how the new inputted laws for Jews affected Anne Frank’s family’s daily life in Europe. The anti-Jewish regulations gave less rights for the Jewish people to stand out like the rest of the others. Furthermore, when the Frank family attempted to escape Europe’s reign under Adolf Hitler, they failed miserably and went into hiding where everything was dismal. “The people in hiding must stay very quiet, they are often afraid and despite good and bad times, spend most of it together.” (Anne-Frank's-history-in-brief/In hiding). This shows that the people in the hiding had to do whatever was necessary to not get caught by the German troops. When Otto Frank received the news that Anne Frank had died, he found her diary that she had written in when she was hid in the secret annex and published it as a novel. “Otto Frank's friends convince him of the great expressiveness of her diary and on 25 June 1947, 'The Secret Annex' is published in an edition of 3.000” (Anne-Frank's-history-in-brief/Anne’s diary). This shows that Otto Frank wanted to show everybody how amazing her daughter was and how her writing could move a person’s heart. It also shows hows how Otto Frank’s friends were also moved by Anne Frank’s beautiful writing. Moreover, the novel, ‘The Secret Annex,’ got very famous which made Anne Frank historic around the world. “People from all over the world learn of Anne Frank's story. Over the years Otto Frank answers thousands of letters from people who have read his daughter's diary” (Anne-Frank's-history-in-brief/Anne’s diary). This shows how many people around the world were inspired by Anne Frank’s admiring writing. Although Anne Frank wasn’t there to see what such thing she had brought into people’s lives, she will always be remembered for her heart touching story.
