8/18/17: When offering Wilson strategies to improve his social skills, he shared what he thought was the cause of his having social struggles. He stated that growing up, he was the most socially awkward kid you could ever hope to meet. However, he bullied, rejected, and abused which caused to him to want to be left alone. Later in life, he feared that there was something wrong with him, and feared nobody would ever accept him. Then the unthinkable happened, he had a nervous breakdown causing him to be hospitalized. He stated that he learned that his social struggles weren't the result of some terrible flaw in his personality.
