How Did Theodore Roosevelt Contribute To Government

Theodore Roosevelt was an inspirational, and educational president who used his childhood influences, love of nature, and love of politics, to expand the power of the presidency. Despite the lack of conservation in America, Theodore Roosevelt used it to expand the power of the executive branch. He did so by involving himself with nature consistently, involved the government in his ethics and discoveries, and the overall power and the influence of presidency to impact America into preserving the natural land. His conservation ethics titled him the “first modern president” and the “father of conservation.” Roosevelt was an active contributor to America throughout his childhood as well as during his reign in office. As a boy, young Roosevelt did not have the opportunity to experience nature. However, when he finally was introduced to it, his love for it consumed him. The devastation of his wife and mother’s passing, made him stronger and Roosevelt realized where he belonged in society. He became the twenty sixth president of the United States of America in 1901 and used his love for conservation to expand the power of the presidency. Conservation was the outline of Roosevelt’s presidency, and used his power to influence conservation on America and it generations to come. After, his rein in office, he was still not finished pursuing his love for the outdoors. During and for a short time after his presidency, Roosevelt had successfully preserved two hundred and thirty million acres of land and was highly commemorated for his work ethic. Theodore Roosevelt never gave up on his conservation and political dream.
