Malcolm’s Reign to Shine After vanquishing the murderous monarch of Scotland, Macbeth, I, King Malcolm of Scotland, have successfully ascended the throne of Scotland, with Dunsinane being the seat of power in Scotland. Macbeth wreaked havoc throughout the kingdom and caused endless misery, especially to people who were perceived by him to pose a threat to his reign, based on the prophecies of the three witches. Riddled with guilt, and further being misled by the three witches coupled with visions of apparitions, Macbeth did many crazy things like wiping out the entire family of Macduff. All these and many more dastardly acts of Macbeth led to the downfall of Dunsinane. I will not be weak like Macbeth was, and I will do everything in my power to make sure Scotland will reign supreme once more. As the new leader of Scotland, I promise to work diligently to reduce crime, improve the confidence of the …show more content…
He broke many rules, promoted his self interests at the cost of the country’s well being, murdered the king, and forced every male in Scotland to fight for his army. With all his misdeeds and his guilt of murders, he drove himself and Lady Macbeth to madness. Macbeth depended on the prophecies of the three witches, yet refused to recognize the dangers of the impending war, putting himself and his reign in unnecessary jeopardy. I promise to restore Scotland to its true glory. Macbeth used his troops for the wrong reason; to protect himself, not to protect the country. I will clean up the enormous mess left behind by Macbeth. As king, I will clean up the areas where the bloody battles ensued and I promise to help with my own hands. This, in turn, will create new jobs for people who do not have any at the moment. I have already conquered England, and made it a wonderful place. I promise to do just the same by cleaning our beautiful land up from the blood Macbeth left
