How Did The New Deal Affect The Economy

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a wonderful man that helped saved Americans economy. he started a campaign know as The New Deal. He hoped to not only fix every Americans money problems. But, also to bring some culture and some light onto the country. These are some people that helped FDR along his path to greatness In 1932 Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected president of the United States of America. He brought forth hope, and knowledge into bringing out America from the hardship known as the Great Depression. The Great Depression was a time when America's stock market crashed. Soon, many jobs and lives were ruined due to the fact the there was no longer any money for Americans. thousands were losing jobs, houses, even hope. everyone was wondering. "what can bring America out of this devastation?" to Roosevelt the answer was almost clear. He thought that if we could bring hope, and enough money to live to America. The Country would be well on its way back onto the road of recovery. Roosevelt promised that as elected president that he would go forth on his campaign promise known as 'The New Deal'. Works Progress Administration (WPA) helped employe thousands of Americans. They helped create jobs and supplied enough money for these people. Enough for them to live, without too much pain or suffering. Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) was a group that employed young men. Between 18 and 25. They planted trees, build roads, fixed the forests. They even helped the land to protect it from floods, fires, and erosion. Which is both a great and noble cause.
