“The Ming Dynasty was located in China and it was established during the 15th century.” (Eser page 381). The Ming Dynasty rose to greatness and lasted from 1368 to 1644 which is about 296 years. They proved to be a well established government with organized rule which kept the country unified and safe from invaders. The Mongolian rule had a great impact on the Chinese psyche. They despised the Mongols. Ming came after the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty. During those 40 years of the Yuan Dynasty there were famines, droughts, flooding of the Yellow River, a plague, and natural disasters. Thousands upon thousand people died, and they believed that the Yuan Dynasty lost the mandate of heaven. Because of this, many rebellions occurred which lasted about
