Impacts of the Industrial Revolution
Some terrible things happened during the Industrial Revolution, but there were good things too. During the Industrial Revolution several improvements in machinery and jobs occurred. The Industrial Revolution had many impacts on society, such as pollution, transportation, and urbanization.
The first major impact the Industrial Revolution had on society was pollution. It was hard to live through the Industrial Revolution with pollution, even the main rivers were stinky with pollution (Friedrich 1). According to The Conditions of the Working Class in England there was trash piling up in front of people’s cabins.
