Machines of the Industrial Revolution have changed the working man. In the Industrial Revolution there were many inventions that we being invented to do work that a human usually does. The people were losing their jobs to machines in this time of technological advancement because the machines could produce the product faster. There were machines that were literally being invented for every job that people did. A huge part of the Industrial Revolution was the effects of the machines. The cities started to get bigger just because of the factories that had the machines in them. “Henry Bessemer invents a process for making steel out of iron. Having a way to make steel more quickly and more cheaply helps the production of building and leads to the growth of cities (“ Industrial Revolution”). Almost everything in the people's everyday routine changed. They went from making the clothes in their own homes to having to go operate machines for the whole entire day. “No longer were men, women, and children producing goods, from now on they were on production lines”(“The Industrial Revolution”). A huge part of why the products were being made in factories is because of the sewing machine.“At a time when people had to make their own clothes at home or pay someone else to sew them by hand, Elias Howe invented the sewing machine(“ Industrial Revolution”). If it weren't for the inventions of the machines during the Industrial Revolution everything would still be handmade to this day. The inventions of these machines literally changed everything.
