The effects of the Great Depression on Americans during this time. During the Great Depression Americans were treated very badly and had very poor pay.Americans could barely even find a job and they would let people go and that would be very sad for families. They had to pay “3 billion dollars” to everything for everything to get better because everything was so bad (“The New Deal”). It was getting so bad the “100 days that he had a never ending stream of bills were passed , to relieve poverty , also they would reduce unemployment just to speed economic recovery (“The New Deal”).
