A revolution is a change in power that takes place in a certain period of time. The first Industrial Revolution began in Great Britian after 1750. Several reasons combined made Great Britian a great start for industrialization, beginning with the agriculture revolution. With new crops and new farming methods the effects for society and its people was only starting.
New technology and knowledge improved large yields of new crops. Most of the rural people were farmers with improving textiles. Men, women , and children worked together as a family to make ends meet to support themselves, in different stages of producing textiles. There were new economic conditions with the increase in trade and the demand for manufacturing the products. Most of the working class lived in conditions like unlighted, unsanitary conditions to get cheaper rent, and be closer to work. Britians middle class people started to prosper, because many new inventions were discovered to make life easier. In 1822 an effective steam engine by James Watt gave right to transport products. The cotton gin was invented in 1793 by Eli Whitney which helped out the textile industry. With interchangeable parts, assembly lines, workers and overseers made more efficient production. The major inventions like the locomotive and the miles of railroad tracks, led to the transportation of products and people faster then ever before.
