Freundlich and Campbell go to Crimea, Russia to see the eclipse. At the time there was war in Russia. Freundlich was caught by the russian while setting the equipment. Since it was war against Germany they arrested him, but since campbell was an American he was neutral to the russians so they let him go. Even though Campbell was without Freundlich and there was war, he still had the chance to take the picture.
