Non-Violent protest is when you protest without violence to make or succeed a goal. Where did it begin? Nonviolent protest began in 470-391 BC in China. They used it because they disapproved in war and thought they didn't have to do it but since they lived in a war area they discovered the ways of defence.

“The Little Rock Nine” was a group of 9 African American students who have enrolled and attended in Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas.
There First day of school was terrible, white people yelling at them telling them bad things calling them bad words, but the thing that made them more mad is the governor of Arkansas prevented them from going in the school. So they went back home.
The Mayor of Little Rock had asked the President to send troops to protect the nine students. The troops that the President had called were the 101st Airborne Divison of the United States Army. This army was there at all times they escorted them everywhere they went from class to class.
One year later the schools in Little Rock were closed down by Arkansas Governor, he did that because he thought that it would be better to have no school than have schools with different race and religion. The families that went to that school blamed it on the little rock nine,And it caused more
