How Did Tesla Change The World

Decent Essays
Nikola Tesla was, in my opinion, a great inventor that could have changed the entire world. Tesla was born in a small village called Smiljan in Austria. After his genious 12-year old brother passed away, Nikola, who was 5 years old, was pressured into studying. He studied chemistry, engineering and philosophy. He later emigrated to the United States of America in 1884, where he was offered a job at the company of Thomas Edison. He quit his job a few months later after a disagreement over his salary and because Edison refused to give a reward he promised after finding a solution to his problem.

Tesla invented the transformator and the induction-engine. He also developed certain lighting-systems, including inductiontube-lighting, commonly known as TL-light. With this invention, he was also able to develop his Teslatransformator, which was used for televisions and CRT-monitors. He also demonstrated the principle of the radio, which was expanded later by Guglielmo Marconi. Tesla researched the whole spectrum of radiowaves and frequencies and experimented with X-ray as well. Thanks to his philosophy-knowledge, he also developed the early form of “the theory of everything”, in which he tried to define the formula of electricity, magnetism and gravity.

He developed the “electrotransformator” that could generate long sparks and even lightning-bolts. This, and more inventions made Tesla seem like an eccentric professor. He often had very detailed visualisations where he could visualize if a machine would run properly or not, and fix the problem. Despite having this ability, Tesla had certain problems, including a severe form of Hosophobia, making it sometimes nearly impossible for him to work. He also had neurotic compulsions, like his obsession with the number

Benjamin Franklin is a famous scientist who changed the world with this kite experiment. His experiment is called "The Philadelphia Experiment". The lab itself was the study of the relationship between the electricity in the lightning and a lightning rod itself.
