“For me marketing is about values, the world is a very noisy world and it is very difficult for people to remember us, so, we need to be very clear about what we want our customers to remember about us” Said Steve Jobs, at the beginning of the documentary. Steve is the American businessman who is best known as Apple Inc co-founder.

This essay will answer your questions about whom he really was and why does he have so much impact on society. First of all, Steve worked with Steve Wozniak designing products and videogames, once, Jobs was hired by Atari which was a videogame company, and he had to design a new videogame, of course, with help of Wozniak. Wozniak already had the idea of a videogame called “breakout”, he told Jobs to sell the idea

He said that Wozniak was more of an engineer, he usually will stay at the back, he will design the products, he will be the “brain” of the group, but, Jobs was the entrepreneur, he was marketing person, he will be the one taking advantage of the situation and thinking how he will be selling the product, he will be the one controlling the business activities

McKenna said that Job’s key was “not only telling people what the product is, but, what will you can possibly do with it and what will the next generation will do with it”.

Steve Jobs was an intelligent person; he had this idea to call ourselves the “personal computer”, this idea made people think they can use the computer for whatever they can dream of. Jobs supported the idea by telling that a computer was the 21st century bicycle which “amplifies intellectual abilities the man has”, he really knew how to sell a product.

He finally achieves what he has dreamed of, Apple Company, but, he had a partner called John Sculley, they did not understand so well, they were having differences about the products, Sculley was taking control of Jobs, so Jobs decided to quit Apple. He said “I hired the wrong guy; he destroyed everything I spent 10 years working

He worked in Next until 1997, in 1997 Apple purchased Next, at that time Apple was having a rough time, the sales were less and everyone was thinking Apple will be over until Steve Jobs got back to the business.

Jobs was offered to be Apple’s leader, he will be the higher charge in Apple, but he failed because the person who made Apple reinvent was Fred Anderson, he invested on the company and decide to launch the IMac computer, that was the product who made Apple grow again.

But, everyone may be asking: Does Apple have some kind of corporate responsibility? No, they did not, they backdate a lot of documents, and backdating is illegal, they knew that, but they still do it. Steve was warned that backdating is illegal and he did not care about if it was or not as long as no one talk and no one tell he was the head of it. Backdating can be legal sometimes, they just needed to tell what they were doing but they did not want to, so I do not think that is being irresponsible with the company at

With the world constantly evolving, the work force is paralleling that transition. Everybody has the dream of being the next Steve Jobs, or Garett Camp, yet they are not beginning at the surface. Prior to reading and hearing from Daniel Pink I had a very different outlook on the workforce and the steps leading to succession. I never spent time thinking about the misconceptions associated with our brain and how the left side is more logical and linear, and the right side is more of a processor and synthesizer.…
