How Did St. Elizabeth Help The Poor

St.Elizabeth was born on July 7, 1207 she died November 17, 1231. She was canonized by greatness of helping the poor. She lived in Sarospatk Hungary she was born a princess. Elizabeth help the poor she and her husband Louis IV of Thuringia would take food from the royal coffers and feed them to the poor family in their kingdom. Lots of times Elizabeth would sneak out with food and give it to the poor. Many time she would come across Louis and he would ask her kindly what she has and she had food for the people she was going to see. Pope Benedict XVI said that her marriage to Louis was very happy. She helped him see how other people lived and raised his human qualities to a natural level. Louis loved her so much that he did anything she said
