How Did Spanish Vespucci Discover Brazil

May, 1499, sailing with the Spanish Vespucci went on his next expedition. He was a navigator under the command of Alonso de Ojeda. Crossing the equator, they traveled right outside of Guyana. Then, Vespucci took off and left his navigator Ojeda behind so that he could to explore Brazil. Vespucci discovered the Cape St. Augustine and Amazon River on this journey through Brazil.
