How Did Romeo And Juliet Kill Themselves

Question 5: Juliet has been told that she has to marry Paris. But what her parents don’t know is that she is already married to Romeo. Juliet is in love with Romeo not Paris. I don’t think that parents should be able to decide who she marries and lives the rest of her life with. Juliet is in love with the enemy, but she loves him and that’s all that matters. She shouldn’t have to live the rest of her life with someone she doesn't like when she loves someone else. Juliet should be able to pick who she wants to marry.

Question 6: Romeo and Juliet both threaten to kill themselves when they don't get what they want. Threatening suicide is not a healthy way of solving a problem. Even if you just say it to get attention that's not something to say. There is always another way to solve something. Killing yourself won't solve anything. I think that back then suicide wasn't such a big deal because not many people did commit suicide. In the present there have been many teens committing suicide because they feel there is no other

A idle threat is a threat that has nothing to back it up. It is a harmless, meaningless threat. A real threat is a person likely to cause danger or harm.

Question 7: Lies and secrets are a big problem in this play. Romeo and Juliet ask the Nurse and Friar Lawerence to keep the marriage a secret. The type or secret depends on if it's bad or not. I don't think there is such thing as a white lie because most lies end up hurting someone. Juliet should have told Lady Calulet that her and Romeo were married. There is never a reason or appropriate time to lie. Good things never come from a lie. Romeo and Juliet would still be alive if she hadn’t have kept her and Romeo a secret. Juliet wouldn't have had to pretend to be dead to get away from Paris if she had told

Therefore, when forsaking her identity by defying her father, Juliet causes a conflict of trust between the two of them, thereby putting Capulet in a suspicious state of mind. Likewise, Romeo’s broken identity results in a monstrous conflict. His determination for peace with Tybalt, is the opposite of what Mercutio- Romeo’s loyal friend- has in mind, who rather thinks of this approach, as “calm, dishonourable, vile submission!” (3.1.70).…
