I think she will be ruled in all respects by me. Nay, more, I doubt it not” (III.iv.13-15). Benjamin Franklin once said, “He that can have patience can have what he will.” In order for a person to get something he or she wants, he or she must be patient, and do what shall be done before chasing instant gratification. Instant gratification is the desire to experience pleasure or fulfillment without delay. It is, by definition, an urge to achieve something without the process of thinking it through or further analyzing the situation. Instant gratification leads to compulsive decision making, which comes with a higher risk of making the wrong choice.…

Juliet Capulet never pictured herself getting married, but after she fell in love, the true love she shared with Romeo, Juliet changed her mind. When Lady Capulet asked Juliet how she felt about marriage, Juliet said “It is an honor that I dream not of”, which means Juliet never thought of getting married. However, later in the story, Juliet uses the metaphor “I have bought the mansion of a love, but not possessed it, and though I am sold, not yet enjoyed.” Juliet loves Romeo truly, but they have not yet married. Juliet also told Friar Lawrence, “And before I am married to another man, I will kill myself” this means Juliet doesn’t want to marry Paris because she is married to Romeo, and she doesn’t love Paris, she loves Romeo.…

The first mistake the Nurse makes is helping Juliet marry Romeo in secret. The Nurse, to some extent, encourages Juliet to marry Romeo, knowing neither Romeo nor Juliet have parental permission. She even passes on the message of the proposal from Romeo to Juliet: “[Hie] you hence to Friar Laurence’ cell, There stays a husband to make you a wife.” (2. 5. 68-69) Most of what happens after Romeo and Juliet’s marriage is one big downward spiral that does not end until the tragic deaths of Romeo and Juliet.…

The main issue about this is that it could be solved in a much simpler way. If Juliet had told her parents she was married already (much to the despise her parents would have that she married a Montague) she could of prevented both her fake and real death. Cause of her fake death Romeo ends up killing Paris because he wouldnt let Romeo see Juliet and to another extent, Romeo poisons himself after seeing Juliet faking her death. This concludes to when Juliet wakes up and not only to find paris dead, but romeo lying beside her which ends up with her stabbing herself with Romeo's dagger.…
