Rome was one of the largest empires and is very well know and is loved by historians and children. But what some people do not know is that Christianity was one of the main reasons Rome fell. And what to many may be shocking was allowed by the emperors of Rome. It started when Constantine started the conversion started to Christianity because originally the romans were polytheistic and now they’re monotheistic. Since they originally thought of their emperor as a god and now the Christian God was thought of to be the only god. So they had to tear down the old temples to the roman gods to make churches to the churches to the Christian God. And the emperor was thought of to be less powerful and had less respect.
