I believe that the war in Afghanistan had prolonged than any war in the U.S history and president Obama has said, that he doesn't believe in endless wars. I would support the president on this idea of rejecting the engagement into endless wars. However, the situation in Afghanistan is not near what the white house had hoped for. If the president keeps troops in Afghanistan the number of casualties and financial burden will be under pressure. If United States decides to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and keep a small force for tactical support to the Afghan government in order to fight the Taliban militants, than the question comes are we putting those troops in danger. I would like to see president Obama leave office with the legacy of having prevailed in Afghanistan. The United States needs to revisit their tactics in Afghanistan when it comes to the matter of dealing with the Taliban militants in particular. I think that the experts who were providing feedback of Talibans to the United States government failed to analyze the anthropological aspects of the Taliban.
