When this attack first happened it was like any normal day, same old routine, then at approximately 7:55 A.M planes were seen over the horizon and before the harbor and island knew it they were being bombed. Japan left havoc and a mess with 2,403 people dead along with about 1000 injured, 188 planes destroyed and 8 battleships. The only things people heard were the booms and screams from explosions. One description of Pearl Harbor shows the impact of the missiles were so powerful that they were so powerful that they knocked the battleships 6 feet above the water. All of this was caused within 10 quick minutes because of several reasons.
