Nat King Cole, his birth name is Nathaniel Adams Coles and was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1919. He was as well playing the piano and had the group in the back playing the other instruments with the jazz vibe to the song. When I looked into Nat King Cole face I can tell he was very genuine when singing the song and believed the words he was saying. To me, that is what makes the listeners be more engaged not only the lyrics, but the performance. Watching, him doing what he loves is so inspiring because it was said, "As an African American performer, Cole struggled to find his place in the civil rights movement...first hand, especially while touring in the South...Cole basically took the stance that he was an entertainer, not an activist" (Nat King Cole Biography).
