How Did Nasa's Men Land On The Moon In 1969?

Did NASA’s men land on the moon in 1969? This is a question which has been debated by conspiracy theorists for decades. “It was a hoax, it was filmed in a studio” These are just some of the comments which have been said by conspiracy theorists as they attempt to pick at every detail from the photos and film provided by NASA. Then turn them into something that isn’t there. Unlike most other conspiracies around the world, the ones surrounding the NASA landings, just aren’t well thought out. To the average person, the photographs showing an astronaut stand out compared to the present background to the shadows not being parallel. These arguments may seem legitimate, but conspiracy theorists lack the advanced understanding how light differs on the moon compared to Earth. Another argument which can absolutely no be argued …show more content…
The photographs provided by NASA of the Apollo-11 landing shows many different and perhaps unusual concepts. One of these which conspiracy theorists argue is that the shadows created by various objects in the photo (astronauts and rocks) fail to be parallel. This leads to the argument that there must be more than one light source shining on these objects. Due to the assumption that all shadows must be parallel if there is only one light source, this apparently means that the landing was filmed in a studio with multiple light sources. The proof shows that this is not the case. The reason the objects shadows aren’t parallel with each other is due to the topography of the Earth. It has been proven that if certain rocks are positioned in a specific way, it has the ability to manipulate the shadow to make it not look parallel. Another photo which has caused controversy in terms of the space landing is a photo that shows one of the astronauts climbing up the ladder to the space craft. The argument in

One of the most remarkable feats of space exploration was the landing of a man on the Moon. On July 16, 1969, NASA launched its famous Saturn V rocket into orbit for a journey across the void of space to Earth’s only natural satellite. A little over a hundred hours after launch, it accomplished what many people considered impossible just a few years ago—a man from Earth walked on the lunar surface. The crew collected rock samples and performed numerous experiments, in the process greatly expanding the databases of knowledge on the Moon…

The year is 1961 and the U.S. is six years deep in a space race with the Soviet Union to show off to each other who has the best air and space capabilities. President Kennedy gives a speech saying that we will go to the moon “not because it is easy, but because it is hard” (Engle). Less than a decade later, on July 20th, 1969 at 20:17:40 UTC, the Apollo 13 mission put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon (“Theories”). Ever since that day the people have doubted the fact that we ever put people on the moon. An opinion poll found six percent of American believed the U.S. did not go to the moon, with it jumping to 20% after Fox released the 2001 documentary: Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?…

Moon landing conspiracy theories claim that foundations of the Apollo program and the connected Moon landings were complete frauds staged by NASA. The most famous claim is that landings (1969–72) were faked and that 12 Apollo astronauts did not actually walk on the Moon. Numerous groups and individuals have made these accusations since the mid-1970s, that NASA and others intentionally deceived the public into believing the landings happened, by manufacturing or destroying evidence including photos, telemetry tapes, radio and TV transmissions and Moon rock samples. Conspiracists have managed to endure public interest in their theories for more than 40 years, regardless of the denials and third-party evidence. Hundreds…

Apollo 11 discovered that the moon is lifeless; containing no living organisms, fossils, or native organic compounds (SNASM). Extensive research and testing revealed no proof for life, past or present, to be found in the lunar samples. Because of the idea of aliens inhabiting the lunar land, a plaque was attached to the leg of the lunar landing vehicle that read “ HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST STEP FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969 A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND” (SNASM). This plaque was signed by former president Richard Nixon along with all three astronauts that took part in the lunar landing mission.…

The hoax is based off of faulty thinking and understanding and the misinterpretation of results and data brought back from the moon. The problem that arises through this is people are believing the wrong things for the wrong reasons. In Holtorf, Susan Richardson is quoted saying, “Given that most of the cult archaeologies have been more than adequately discredited, the ‘undecided’ option seems far from satisfactory.” This reasoning can be used to analyze the moon landing hoax as well. There is more than enough evidence countering any claims against the moon landing to believe anything but the truth.…

The one reason that the waving flag, when you look at the photo of Neil on the moon, the flag does know that it 's moving and that is a little odd since there is no atmosphere out there, that is a huge head scratcher just because if they were really on the moon why is it moving. Another reason why I agree with it being a conspiracy is because the claim has it that if they landed on the moon that the crater would be so much deeper and larger than it really is. In the photo, it is not really even visible or ever look like it was moved. Of the 10 reasons that I saw, reading into them really makes me think that maybe the moon landing never really happened. The claims that are being said really make sense, especially if you look at the photos being shown; you see exactly what thousands of others see.…
