Throughout my childhood, I always dreamed of becoming an actress. However, I also seemed closed off from others and timid around strangers. Consequently, I decided to take a leap and enroll in Theatre Arts as a freshman. In that moment, my life changed forever. My theatre teacher, Mrs. Massengill, assisted me in trying to break out of my shell. As a beginner-level Theatre Student, I loathed performing before my peers. However, eventually making friends and acquaintances assisted me in feeling comfortable. I reached a point where I did not care if I embarrassed myself, as long as I did what I loved--acting. Mrs. Massengill shared many of my thoughts and beliefs in regards to practically anything--pop culture, music, but especially opinions
