In the novel Fahrenheit 451, the main character Montag changed a lot due to the other characters around him. For example, at the beginning of the book Guy Montag didn’t care at all about books, but at the end Montag believed books were the key to saving everyone from a dystopian reality. Like when Clarisse asked if firemen used to put out fires rather than start them, Montag started getting curious about his way of life. As you can see, people can change greatly depending on the circumstances and actions of others.
