Michael Collins, attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and afterward began his career in the sky. His first spaceflight was the Gemini 10 mission, where he performed a spacewalk. His second was Apollo 11 the first lunar landing in history. Also the first person to orbit the moon in a Command Module all alone with no communication. His courage and bravery helped us get where we are today.
